  1. During the health fair, I shadowed a Nigerian doctor as he conducted a small education session to ten elderly women. The doctor explained the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and complying with medications. He also explained the importance of going to the doctor for annual cervical and breast exams. He even let me explain how to conduct a breast exam while he translated. This experience is one that I will cherish on my journey to becoming a doctor. This health fair truly felt surreal as I was living out my dream to educate people of an underserved area on how to live a healthier lifestyle.
