The last health fair was conducted in the village of Onicha-Ugbo. There was a large turnout from start to finish. We were all exhausted but pushed through the day despite the beaming sun rays. There was so much enthusiasm among the patients that have been attending the health fair for years. Neighboring patients stepped in to translate if an individual did not speak English. Towards the end of our health fair, we all received participation awards and native gifts from the village. We worked hard up until the last health fair and we were left in a bit of shock when it was all over.
